A Bitter Embrace: Exploring Italian Aperitivo Spirits & Amari with Phoenix Cocktail Club

Bitter Italian spirits are part of a category that is all too often overlooked by consumers. Yet, these spirits are integral ingredients in the American pantheon of cocktails and service industry culture. Without them, one would miss the Negroni, the Americano, the Boulevardier, and well . . . shots of Fernet, among others. We want to show you the breadth of these bitter spirits, in what ways they shine, how they can be used, and why you should be ordering them on your next night out on the town.

Join us, along with The Phoenix Cocktail Club, as we explore the landscape of Italian bitter aperitivo spirits, amari, fernet, and other botanical elixirs. This is going to be a spirit-forward collaboration which drives a compact dinner menu put together by our respective chefs, Erik Hansen and Nathan Heck. Please click on the “Buy Now” button below to purchase a ticket!
