On behalf of Chef %@&$#% and the lovely Caressa, I’d like to welcome you to our new culinary adventure, Sprezzatura. We are leaping forward with a pop-up dinner series called IN BOCCA AL LUPO. It’s translated to “in the mouth of the wolf” and is the Italian equivalent to our apotropaic phrase “break a leg.” We thought it a fitting title for our first tentative steps. IN BOCCA AL LUPO, VOL. 1 is coming this January and you can get details for it from the menu on our home page.

In other news, we recently held our first dinner/photoshoot called “A Feast for our Friends” and it was a delicious success. So much wine, so much food. We’d like to again give some thanks to all who attended, especially Michael Olen who provided the photography. We will be posting much of his work in coming posts.

Anyway, stay with us. Watch us grow. Better yet, come to one of our upcoming dinners and see for yourself: real modern Italian in Milwaukee . . . no tourist menu.img_0598
